Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed God of War: Ascension, the next entry in the God of War series. You wanted God of War 4 and you got it!

So far a teaser trailer has been released and the story will explore the origins of the Spartan warrior Kratos. This is being called the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far (How will they top God of War 3?! plus hasn’t Kratos pwned all of the gods? Will Ares make a return? , can’t bloody wait!)

You can check out the teaser trailer below and some screen grabs I took. The game will be releasing on the Playstation 3 in Spring 2013.
