I’ve featured Sakimichan before for her artwork titled Tree Light, but after coming across this new piece, i can’t help but post about it as well.

Titled For You Japan, Sakimichan did this piece for Japan after the earthquake. My favourite bit is the flower at the bottom right hand corner. It’s almost symbolising ‘hope’.

What do you guys think? you know, whenever i come across such a piece i am amazed, it shows the power of art and what human beings are capable off to express their feelings and emotions. Just incredible.

I’m pretty sure by now most of the people out there is already aware of japan and it’s catastrophes. It’s unfortunate and devastating to see and hear about it, especially on videos that has been posted on You tube with footage on the destruction of japan.

Words cannot express how sad I feel about all this. I decided to dedicate an image to Japan, it’s the least I could do, I also donated 20$ to the recross, I know it’s not much but it’s better than nothing.

I’d like to grant anyone commercial rights to the image as long as the profit goes to japan.
